i'm pretty in love with the mercy, patience, meekness and redemption of Jesus. there is NONE like Him. whenever anyone asks how i feel about my safety here, it's impossible to express fear because i am so completely smitten by His sovereignty and control.
i am also really behind with about 47 million updates that have been written in my mind but not on this blog.
in honor of april fools, though no surprise, this is not the actual update blog post...gotcha.
but i will say that when Israel springs forward (FINALLY, i've been waiting since september 1st when we fell back), it skips Spring and goes straight to Summer. 90F here today.
updates by sunday after i finish a full shabbat of studying fungi, parasites, and helminths (delicious). i have quite the love affair with viruses and bacterium after studying their cystic sisters and branching (hyphae) brothers. for the 99% of you that have no idea what i'm talking about, that was a terribly nerdy attempt at microbiology humor in lieu of the upcoming exam covering our year of studies.
